Whether it is fair or not to all Muslims serving in the military, the fact is that we cannot trust Muslims with Middle East connections. The military is not about being fair, it is about protecting our country by fighting if necessary. You cannot have people serving in the military wondering whether their brother in arms is a friend or a foe. Trust is essential, and it is impossible to trust any Muslim.

Fox News - Shep Smith - interviewing Col. Terry Lee (Ret) who knew Hasan - and said he would often speak out against our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan saying that “maybe the Muslims need to stand up to ...”....and that he was going to be deployed to Iraq in late 2009 and was going through the channels because he very much against going.

But stupid Shep Smith is saying still this was one man who went on a shooting spree himself.....(why are there 2 other suspects in custody, then, Shep??)

Earlier on Fox it was repoted that Hasan came through VIRGINIA TECH - someone on FR named Va. Tech area as where “these people” are often based...is there a Muslim Mosque there or something?

OH I had not heard that the other 2 suspects had been released. I had heard that no “all clear” had been sounded yet because Fort Hood is so large and they were having to check everything out to be absolutely sure.

Shep now reporting that the military hss informed a Texas Congressman that those 2 other suspects have been released.

Heard a military consultant earlier saying something to the effect that where and when this shooting occurred, the soldiers would not have been armed.

First news I heard was that at least 1 or more of the dead were SWAT guys, not military.
