WASHINGTON (AP) - Federal law enforcement officials say the suspected Fort Hood, Texas, shooter had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats. The officials say the postings appeared to have been made by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who was killed during the shooting incident that left least 11 others dead and 31 wounded. The officials say they are still trying to confirm that he was the author. They say an official investigation was not opened.

Aunt: Fort Hood shooting suspect asked for discharge ...A co-worker at Walter Reed said Hasan would not allow his photo to be taken with female co-workers, which became an issue during Christmas season when employees often took group photos. Co-workers would find a solo photo of Hasan and post it on the bulletin board without his permission.... http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2009/11/05/20091105hasanprofile-CR.html

I think we should continue to do nothing by keeping all Muslims in our services and see how many of us they can kill. Sound like a plan? Obama surely wouldn’t want to upset them! After all, the nicer we are to Muslims, the more of us they’ll kill.

More info here:

The gunman who killed 12 people today at Ft. Hood appears, based on current media reports, to be Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan who was listed as a participant in a Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential transition task force last year.

The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent thinktank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.

According to the task force's May 2009 report [pdf], a "Nidal Hasan" from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine was a task force event participant. Other participants included Senate and House staffers, Department of Homeland Security officials, Defense Department officials, and reporters for Politico, the Washington Post, and the London Times.

Thanks for finding this article. Scary! Why can’t places like this get shut down? Political correctness is our undoing.

Re: “These soldiers are dead because of the politically correct environment when it comes to Muslims. I am sick of it.”

You are certainly not alone! In France, Sarkozy is attempting to take back French culture and all the rest as he sees the country turning more and more Muslim. Those costumes are being forbidden and French anthem being sung far and wide. It’s about time.

And now this, here in Texas. How many more similar scenarios are out there, just waiting to play out, while we practice idiotic political correctness?

An official investigation was not opened after Internet postings of suicide and other threats??? Of course not!!! That would be considered racial profiling and ESPECIALLY because the bastard was a muzzie, it would be a double no-no.

Instead the Dept of Homeland Security is too busy under 0bozo's administration warped policy of labeling conservatives & patriots as domestic terrorists for the travesty of being a concerned citizen & opposed to 0bozo's socialist agenda. Geez I hate these liberal socialist bastards & demoRATs more every day!!!

The poor guys down in Texas had every intention of having this press conference...Bet the rent, the feds walked in and said, "Lets have a little talk, before ya'll head to the microphones".

"Ya see, we been watching this guy".

Very plausible.

"Jail all muzzies! "

Ah, I hope you can withdraw this tomorrow. If not, you may wish to leave FR and join the KKK.

Islam has many problems. Perhaps even a majority of Muslims are terrorist supporters. Nonetheless, we do have a Bill of Rights for a reason. I trust that in a more calm mood, you still support the Bill of Rights.

“Political correctness is our undoing.”

Some of Hasan’s ramblings:

2. Three men make terrorist cell.
3. Everyone goes to a church that has links to 9/11 murderers.
4. Must cover up truth for dear leader.

5. Which base is next?

Of course we all support the Bill of Rights, Uncle Miltie.

But Islam, according to its sacred precepts, is thoroughly unconstitutional. The U.S.Constitution is based on free will; there is no such thing in Islam, only submission. No one has any rights except Muslim males.

Muslims use our own Bill of Rights to destroy us.

It is about time we called them out as to what Islam really is, a political cult masquerading as a religion.

If such a thing exists, it probably originated during the Bush administration. That’s when the velvet glove approach to Muslims originated.

The information is flowing now...

While in Fort Hood he was routinely bad mouthing U.S. policy in Iraq and Afghanistan, and openly calling for the Muslims for strike back.

Uncle Sam's Jihadists What's the U.S. military doing about radical Muslim soldiers? Not enough.

By Deanne StillmanPosted Thursday, March 27, 2003, at 2:39 PM ET

The most disturbing story of the war so far is the fragging at Camp Pennsylvania in Kuwait. According to news reports, on March 23, Sgt. Asan Akbar rolled a grenade into each of three tents of sleeping officers and senior NCOs of the 101st Airborne Division. Then he allegedly shot the soldiers with an automatic weapon as they fled from their tents. Two of them, a major and a captain, died, and 14 others were injured.

The episode is unsettling for a number of reasons, most of all because it exposes a fact about our military that commanders have tried their best to ignore: the presence of radical, anti-American Muslims in the ranks. Read the rest here. http://www.slate.com/id/2080770

Wow. And ten minutes after the shooting the FBI said this had nothing to do with terrorism. Really?

Straight from the Eric Holder desk of lies.
