No, but we had several REGIMENTS of American-born Japanese ancestry citizens, who served with honor and distinction, and received UNIT citations.
And we had hundreds of thousands of Americans of German ancestry fighting in both World War I and II who were loyal, hardcore Americans who despised what the Nazis were doing. Remember, this country fro its inception had a HUGE German immigrant population.
Basically, we need folks who speak the language there and understand the mentality. BUT - that being said - we also need to remove the NUT CASES like this bastard who evidently was under observation/suspicion.
It’s a fine line for sure, and I’m not defending him; I want to see him HANGED by the neck until dead for this, publicly. And any who helped or supported him.
