It just doesn't seem right to put the Obama logo in the word “Hero”.

Gun Control done right...

It's no wonder that Taliban, terrorists, and other thugs want women in the Burhka and preferably uneducated. An educated woman taught proper gun control can make choices for herself, and only 72 fictional virgins would choose the losers who support random violence.

This need you have to interject a Zero Dollar into every current event is growing tiresome.

Woman of the year, imho. A credit to the force and a blessing to those around her.

It doesn’t seem right. Figures the Obama logo lovers would have to try to attach him/his administration to her heroism.

I don’t know this for certain, but I’ll bet she was carrying a 9mm, since she hit the major 4 times and he’s still alive. I say we get this lady a bigger gun.

Kudos to this brave woman for aggressively taking down this gunman, after being shot. I am in awe of her actions!

There was a similar shooting in the 90’s at Fairchild AFB in WA. Luckily, only 5 died—especially considering the perp had an assault rifle. What’s amazing is the SP rode his mountain bike at full speed for almost a mile, confronted the gunman at 70 yards, and dropped him. I can’t imagine jumping off my bike after a sprint and facing down an assault rifle 70 yards away with only a pistol, and making the critical shots.

From Wikipedia
A significant event at Fairchild occurred on June 20, 1994 when Dean Mellberg, a deranged ex-Air Force member entered the base hospital and shot and killed five people and wounded many others. Mellberg had been discharged after failing psychological evaluations by base psychologists Maj. Thomas Brigham and Captain Alan London. At the time of the shooting, Fairchild’s hospital was an ungated facility. The gunman, armed with a Chinese-made MAC-90, an AK-47 clone [1] entered the office of Brigham and London and killed both men. Mellberg continued to move through the hospital, injuring and killing several people, including 8-year-old Christine McCaren. The gunman then walked out of the building into the parking lot, where after killing Anita Linder, was confronted by military police officer and airman Andy Brown. From approximately 70 yards (60 m) yards away, Brown ordered Mellberg to drop his weapon. After Mellberg refused, from a kneeling position Brown fired four shots from his 9mm pistol, two rounds hitting the perpetrator in the head and chest, killing him[2]. After an investigation it was concluded that Airman Brown was justified in his actions, saving countless lives, and was awarded the Airman’s Medal by President Clinton.

Then don’t view them, and certainly don’t post on the thread and give it more attention.

If anyone deserved to use a flag on a logo saying HERO it’s this gal.

Just consider it my way of taking it back. Like how some people have started to take back the rainbow symbol from the (usually not gay) homosexuals.

I agree that the police Sergeant is a genuine Hero.

Your rationale makes some sense — but, it requires the engagement of the left brain & the verbal explanation you've just provided. Interpretation of graphic messages is decidedly a right-brain function & occurs almost instantly. The graphics (unfortunately) imply Obama is a hero.

The other Obama dollars I've seen link Obama & his logo to negative qualities or events. In this case, you've (obviously inadvertently) linked Obama (through the logo) to something positive (heroism).

Not really. The loser dollars are titled ZERO. The few HERO dollars (only 3 of them) are labeled HERO.

And no offense to you personally, since your reply is obviously not a knee-jerk impulse reply, but I AM particularly tired of people getting on my and others’ cases because they don’t engage the brain and take some time to figure things out.

Oh well. Can’t expect people to do what I’d do and just not click on a thread you don’t care about in the first place.

You're using graphics as a means of communication — I'm just giving you some feedback; to the effect that the message for the “Hero” dollars is garbled, by the juxtaposition of the Obama logo with images of heroes. (Actually, I've only seen the subject “Hero” dollar; so, I'm making assumptions about the others.)

The message of each of the Zero dollars is clear enough — because the Obama logo is accompanied by other negative images (Moore, Pelosi, etc.)

I understand what you are saying. I am trying to turn a negative into a positive. And also keep them somewhat in the same recognizeable format. that’s all I am saying.

I would bet that your average murderous idiot with an AK is not too talented with the rifle. That makes distance your friend. If you close only sufficiently to assure that YOU hit, you increase the chances that the idiot won't hit you. Depending upon how much ammo I had, I might have to come within about 75 feet to be confident of getting hits.

It's an interesting tactical question.
