If folks want to be in the Republican Party, that’s fine. I don’t even care if they don’t agree with every principle, but the Party itself shouldn’t compromise its principles, and certainly shouldn’t put down those who do.

His saving grace is he is in the House with that rating and stood against Comprehensive Immigration Reform.. a couple years ago in the Senate, you had GoP senators that had high
ACU ratings as well and supported the CIR legislation and labored hard for it.

Enough Boehner and Can’tor. It's time for Mike Pence to lead the GOP.

That is all fine and good..but he shouldn’t be out front. We need fighters out front right now.

I’d like to see DeMint and Sessions assume senior leads in the Senate too.. and perhaps as Pres. election ticket material.

Bingo! Too many people say conservative things, but when it comes to voting are liberal. Cantor is not one of those people. His votes back up what he says. Who cares if he cannot give a good speech? There is another person in power who gives good speeches (so some would say), and where has that gotten us?

Tom McClintock would make a good one too.

Another RINO who doesn’t get it. What the Democrats and the MSM think of as ‘inclusive’ is how we got the ‘bama!! I’d rather die on my feet as a conservative than on my knees as a ‘moderate’.

Eric Cantor, the second-ranking Republican in the U.S. House, said his party needs to be inclusive and criticized some comments by talk-show host Rush Limbaugh as inappropriate.

Just because he's the second ranking GOP Republican doesn't mean he doesn't come in last for in smarts. He (and others like him) are stuck on the good-old-boy mentality and perks from their lobbyist donors. They'd rather see republicans lose elections and and give an obscene gesture to constituents (while smiling at them toothily) than to save their nation and protect those who put them in office.

*RINOs need to be cast out to become the democrats of which they aspire

Communication skills matter.

Looks like Lindsey's been giving Eric back rubs.

I don't have a problem with putting down GOP office holders who compromise conservative principles.

None of the official spokespersons for either the Pubs or Dems are very attractive or persuasive. I have about had it with all of them.

Inclusion: Code word for promoting RINOs.

Real conservatives are inclusive without having to say they are. Conservatism by nature is inclusive.

Absolutely correct. The lives, liberty, and property of all are equally protected by the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. That is conservatism.

Preferential treatment, or adverse treatment, of selected groups is the MO of liberals and RINOs.

Tom just got in the House (and just barely).
He’s not ready for leadership yet.
