That crew didn't get those annulments and remarriages for a song, I guarantee you.
How much did the church get?
I'm not the Vatican CPA. But do you really think the Kennedys get a free pass without paying? I grew up in Boston and saw the political machinery of the Church. Cardinal Cushing was a real piece of work. The most powerful man in Boston in the 1960s.

As my Mom, as devout a Catholic you would ever meet once said, "Never give to the second collection or the Cardinal's Stewardship Appeal. That's where the padding goes on."
I would ask how does she know this but I don’t want to start the cycle all over again.
What I'm saying is that all organizations have some people who are treated differently because of their particular skills, talents, influence and yes, wealth. Our Church is no different.
I believe your church might have sinners who are treated special just like my church but to make such accusations you should provide some solid proof. Because she sat on some parish council isn’t enough.
I'm a Catholic who realizes that the Church is not faultless and is only as strong as its weakest link. Doesn't mean that I' m wrong, nor does it make me a bad Catholic.

I never said you are a bad Catholic and I never said it was my church. I realize there are a lot of problems with it, including homosexuality, which, BTW is not just a Catholic thing. I just wanted to know how much the Catholic church was paid by the politicians for their annulment which was your claim.
