President Obama says "we cannot fully know" what led Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to kill 13 people and wound 38 others at Fort Hood, Texas Thursday.
Hasan reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before the killings, wrote Internet postings justifying Muslim suicide bombings, considered U.S. forces the enemy, and opposed American involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan as wars on Islam. His rampage at Ft. Hood has the markings of an act of Islamic terrorism.
But in his weekly address, Obama says, "We cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing."

Typical of Obama. He sets an impossible standard (”fully”) and implies that short of that, we cannot make any judgments.
In a secular, practical, make-judgments-in-regular-life sort of way, the facts available today are pretty clear and I’m pretty sure I know enough to be pretty sure why this terrorist did what he did.
It’s sort of like if Roman Polanski showed up for a date with your daughter. Maybe there’s an explanation for his past behavior somewhere that would make a decision to let her go out with him a sensible one. But I wouldn’t make a real life decision on that possibility.
In a different way, we do fully know why he did what he did. He gave himself to Satan.
As we have seen in the UK and Europe, the second generation of muzzie immigrants are highly susceptible to be trained in the philosophy of Jihad and Islamic Hegemony and then encouraged to action by the imams.
So the only real question here is: Did this Mad Mo go on jihad primarily from his own understanding of the basic tenets of islam or was he inflamed by repeatedly attending "motivational" talks by one of more imams?

It’s (the motive) amazingly clear. This man is a muslim. muslims hate freedom and are incapable of love as love requires a freedom of the heart and mind that are wholly incompatible with a cult founded by a pedophillic war-mongerer.
As a rational adult, I find it amazing how you and your ilk can immediately ascribe motive to the local Denny’s failing to seat a black couple in a timely manner, yet refuse to admit the facts before you in this case. Obamas response is the classic thought pattern of liberals.

I read his remarks. He has a good speech writer apparently.
Except for the use of the word “crime” when it should be “Islamic terrorist attack”.
The speech goes on and on and on - and says things that everyone here would agree with.

I think we can get a pretty good idea. Do you think that a religion of peace would condone female sexual mutilation? How about cutting another human beings head off. Here is the October report of Jihad attacks for the month of October, 2009: There were 156 attacks in 15 countries, with 909 dead bodies and 2024 injured. (Not to mention the on-going terror attack against the American constitution being performed daily on USA soil by a sympathetic-to-islam US president.)
