Let them. The more they do this, the more they divide the country.

These people this government need to be stopped, by force, if necessary. And by necessary, I mean, in reality.

What makes me mad is a segment of the American voters elected Republicans to represent them. They should be allowed to take part in all of this, but Obama and his puppet Democrats think they own the Government. Lets pray for a voter revolt the next time around.

There are a number of people in and around my community (and I am sure across America) who absolutely could not get to DC for the last several events due to work, family, health, etc...If this thing gets passed and signed by Obama, THAT WILL CHANGE. We will be there.

Aren’t they voting on an ammendent or rule first regarding abortion?
If all of the Republicans would vote ‘no’, the bill would go down in flames because the conservative Dems wouldn’t support the final version.

I’m watching it on CSPAN and these liars are pissing me off so bad I’m tempted to grab the shotgun and blow the damn TV right through the living room wall.
But hubby is taking a nap and that would likely wake him up LOL.

Some republican with half a clue who can speak off the cuff needs to get face time and plainly talk about why this is wrong and is certainly wrong for now. That idiot cardiologist who always speaks with the slicked down hair has the charisma of a noodle.
If the repubs don’t find someone who can just flat tell the American people, without a speech or teleprompter, that they agree we need reform and that they have put out a reasonable plan and talk some common sense...it’s over.

When are the planning the “vote” because now they are still in the “debate” phase.

On the “abortion agreement”, which Democrats have crafted, the Washington Post writes:
“Under the agreement, anti-abortion Democrats will be permitted to offer an amendment on the House floor to the health-care overhaul bill. The amendment would prohibit a new government-run insurance plan created by the health-care bill from offering to cover abortion services, congressional sources said. It also would block people who received federal subsidies for the purchase of health insurance from buying policies that offered coverage for abortions. “
If the amendment does as WaPo claims, could it pass? I don’t think it will. When does not pass, remember that you will have RATs who claim they are “pro-life” who will tell voters they “supported” the “pro-life” amendment before they voted to give federal dollars for abortion.
Those RATs, who vote for federal funding for abortion after they vote against it, are lying to you if they say they are “pro-life”. They vote to force Americans to pay for abortions. I think of a sign at Michele Bachmann’s “House Call” this week.
“Abortion is not health care!”
