When it gets to the Senate, we storm DC a million strong. It has to be a Saturday for maximum turnout.
They may win this battle, but they are going to lose the war.
This was never in doubt. The “will it or won’t it” is just a show for the masses. We are no longer a Republic.
Every Dem that is in a swing district can count on this ending their political careers! Most Americans do not want this.
But the last notes always fall flat.
Not trying to say this bill passing the house is not bad news, but let’s be honest, this is FAR from being over. The senate hasn’t acted, and may not before the year is out. Even if the senate acts, it’s bill will be quite different from the house bill. After the senate finally does something (and there’s no guarantee they will even pass a bill), it will have to go to conference, where the two will be reconciled. After that, they go back to the house and senate for fresh votes in each chamber. THAT will be the vote to really watch.....but we’re a long ways away from that.
In a sane world, this vote wouldn’t even be close.
It would be shot down by 435 votes....

Once it passes, than it’s on to the Senate, and it if passes the Senate (no guarantee), than it goes before a joint committee.

I knew once the Army story was front page, this would pass. Man I pray for those families who are in pain right now but something does not sit right with me. This bill is going through because everyone is not paying attention except for us of course.
