In secret, without needing to advertise to the press. Just likes his visits to Walter Reed, President Bush doesn't use our wounded warriors as a photo op. Obama, on the other hand, made his FIRST visit to Walter Reed as POTUS just LAST week. When he went to Dover, he had to drag the press corps along to get his photo op.

The differences between a real CINC and Obama could not be more striking. The foreign press is tearing Obama to shreds over his callous, disgraceful remarks when it took him two minutes to get around to mentioning the massacre at FT Hood. Obama is a disgrace, and even though the world is realizing that quicker than the MSM and some Americans, the truth is coming out.

I am sure the wounded troops will get more comfort from President Bush's heartfelt best wishes and sympathies, than they will from Obama's heartless teleprompter fed crap.

Like one of the commentators said, for all the kowtowing to the dumbles W did and the spending etc, it was acts like this that make him if not great, then at least pretty darn good.

The current White House squatter should take some might good notes.

It saddens me that this POS is going to desecrate the hallowed grounds of Ft Hood with his presence there.

That punk in the White House sees the military, and us rightwingers, as his enemy. If this had happened in central San Francisco, or New York City, he would have been hugging the union members, crying with them, and we would have seen a teary Zero. But these people are evil military, in central evil Texas. Not worth spending time on.

From Telegraph.uk article:
Maybe Mr Obama had been reading the American press, much of which somehow contrived to present the atrocity as a result of combat stress due to soldiers going on repeated war deployments (though Major Nadal Hasan had not been on any) and therefore, no doubt, Mr Bush's fault.

Typical response from the "Man-child"

"Some foreign news reporters have begun to write unflattering comparisons of the emotional Bush vs the ever-cool, possibly cold Obama."

Obama's inability to demonstrate the emotion of empathy in any real or tangible way, is a troubling sign. He does, however, frequently demonstrate the signs of narcissistic personality disorder, and I believe occasional manic episodes. Was he ever asked the questions if he had previously been treated for depression? Has he ever fully released his medical information?

If Obama was a Republican, every shrink in America would be going out of their way to describe Obama's personality flaws. At least the foreign press seems to be taking some of their blinders off, hopefully the US press will soon to follow.

It is a great relief that a President was able to show the proper respect to these people.

Unlike Obama, who's first instinct is to give us a lecture about how we should not jump to conclusions as if we are all idiots.

And even though no one on TV jumped to any conclusions.

No one on radio jumped to any conclusions.

No one in the police jumped to any conclusions.

No one in the Military jumped to any conclusions.

No one in the government jumped to any conclusions.

The only person who jumped to a conclusion was the arrogant Obama talking down to us that were jumping to conclusions.

Obama will never miss an opportunity to insult Americans, because he hates us.

I’m sure President Bush and Laura’s visit comforted the families considerably. It was a nice gesture, and he certainly speaks for me when he does things like this. I only wish I could have gone along too.

Obama has shot his mouth off to the point that I honestly hope he doesn’t try to comfort the families. He still hasn’t okayed the sending of more troops to the battle he and his fellow travelers were saying was the only justified battle for over five years.

This man doesn’t give a rat’s ass about our troops and their safety.

The sooner he is gone from office, the sooner we can fumigate and scrub the place with Socialist eradicator, Marx-be-gone, and Com-zot. Then we can put a nice anti-Fascist sealer ever what’s left.

Just like his first Thanksgiving in Iraq. Low-key. Press didn’t even know where they were going, and the soldiers only knew that a high-level official was going to be present for dinner.

I’m sure Obama will do something similar, if he hasn’t already. I imagine he could spare several hours to console the family of Hasan and comfort them as they worry that their loved one might face criminal charges over his brave actions fighting for Obama’s people.
