I don't doubt that there are many reasons why Buffet bought BNI. I'll take him at his word though that one of the biggest reasons he made this buy is that he's anticipating a good dose of inflation down the road and, holding a lot of cash, he wanted to be invested in working assets rather than cash.

Wal-Mart still purchases less than 10% of their inventory from China but that won't stop the Wal-Mart bashers from doing what they do best.

I just bought a pair of Wrangler jeans at Wal-Mart. Made in Mexico of U.S. components (according to the label). Maybe transported during the process by BNI. That makes me an advocate for illegal immigration, I guess.
