He is a hero to the good Muslim. The Koran, the unalterable word of God, calls for certain things. The Major, as he knew best, tried to live up to his religion.
The babbling of a million semi literate, unschooled, half Christian half heathen Americans doesn't change this.

The babbling of a million semi literate, unschooled, half Christian half heathen Americans doesn't change this. It would be comforting to believe that the "babbling" emanates from the semi-literate and unschooled, but it doesn't. It echoes from the hallowed halls of academia, fully dedicated to the glorification of victims -- including murderous jihadists -- who are victimized by US "agression."
The semi-literate and unschooled, at least in the US, are wiser than that.
