He remembers the day, Oct. 3, 2002, when Lori Lewis Rivera was shot to death by the D.C. snipers at a gas station in Kensington. Two thousand miles away, her father was oblivious, out in the wilderness running a giant rock-crushing machine. Lewis stares at the floor as he recalls it, kneading his beefy hands and wiping away tears with his fingers.

Figures ... just wondering if a backlash is coming ....
I believe many are. They had to restrict the observors to 2 per victim, due to lack of space in the observation area. The story indicates that this father and the husband of his daughter are going to be there, even though the husband has since remarried. Futher on it says that many other family members of other victims are also going to be there. Some aren't, but that's their choice for the most part.
No, I meant participate in the execution. I would want a chance to sever fingers or strangle him, etc.
Now that is not allowed. But if it was, they'd need to do it by firing squad, equipped with bolt action .22s, or maybe .17 caliber rimfires.. or high powered air rifles, .17 caliber pellets or BBs. :)
