Actually...I believe they probably were responsible for 5-7 oyther shooting (5 deaths and two injuries) across the country before they got to the beltway. CA, AZ, FL, TX, and AL.
His execution cannnot come soon enough IMHO. The younger one should also be executed, irrespective of any "deals".

We’ve got injustice Kennedy to thank for Lee Boyd Malvo (however it’s spelled) not being executed.
The “child” was only 17 when he was killing people don’t ya know...
