Dobbs Excoriates Obama for Double Standard: Compares His Post-Cambridge to Post-Ft. Hood Remarks
Newsbusters ^ | November 11, 2009 | Jeff Poor

Some of the mainstream media intelligentsia following the Fort Hood, Texas massacre have cautioned people to reserve judgment about the suspect Major Nidal Malik Hasan and have bypassed many key details in order to live up to what could be construed as a politically correct standard. CNN's Lou Dobbs isn't one of them.

Dobbs, on his Nov. 10 radio program, didn't reserve judgment and criticized President Barack Obama for telling people to do so in a speech following the tragic event. Dobbs played a clip from the speech Obama gave last week which he warned, "We don't know all the answers yet and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts."

"Isn't that remarkable, telling the American people not to jump to any conclusions?" Dobbs said. "Not to speculate, not to be curious about what is happening to our men and women, who should be the center of all of our attention and concern and care. Let's compare that statement by our president to what he said at the end of a press conference about health care shortly after the arrest of Professor Henry Lewis Gates, his good friend."

I wonder if zero and his administration will now refuse interviews with Dobbs and try to get him fired from CNN, in which he would probably then get picked up by Fox News.

The more obama exposes himself politically - something the MSM did not seek during the election - the more I see the SOB as a racist traitor to America.

[”Isn't that remarkable, telling the American people not to jump to any conclusions?” Dobbs said. “Not to speculate, not to be curious about what is happening. . .”]

If I was speculating it would be that Hasan was allowed to run amok because he was under surveillance by a federal agency trying to identify other American jihadists inside and outside the Army.

“The police acted stupidly” comes to mind.
But of course, Obama is excused from his
own edicts.

I'd like to him or someone in his position show video of 0's response to the George Tiller murder and the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood.

And never forget - there were 14, including a child who will never have a first breath.

Yes, the standard of not-jumping-to-conclusions was a little different when Obama thought he could sell the idea that the Museum murders could be blamed on right-wing neo-Nazis, wasn't it?

That too.

Whatever is politically expedient, attacks Americans, and helps jihad.

Dobbs nails it yet again. The countdown to his move to FNC is ticking...

Recalling his OUTRAGE when Tiller the baby killer was shot.

After all, O’s priorities are antithetical to true values.

Who the hell does this pimp think he is?

Now if O'Reilly made that statement, it might carry some weight, but this doofus? Give me a break

Moreover, that makes it even more enticing

How about Fox exchanges Lou for WHOREAldo and the far left pimp goes over to CNN where he really belongs?

Even better, they can throw in Twinkle Toes Schlepp Smith for good measure

Then I can feel free to watch Fox on weekends again and not have to worry about seeing Rivers' mug 24/7 from Fri to Sunday.

Great point indeed. Special Report on Monday night pointed this out and there was no way for Mara to try to deny the double standard here. The biggest fear the DNC should have is that America wakes up from its malaise and starts to recognize some of these contradictions themselves.

Also leads into the whole FBI pre-judging the nature of the incident before they had all of the facts. To flatly say it was not an act of terrorism immediately after the shooting reflects on the perverse way this administration is going to prosecute this “war” from here on out.

Last night on O reilly, the Iguana aka Colms said the GOP is using this incident as a tool to make Obama look bad. So, along with Jerkroldo, and light in loafer Smith, they should do the three for one trade for Dobbs.

Oh, I notice that insane prof was on this show last night again, I thought they fired him. Anyway, he must have been on Prozac along with a dose of probation for this appearance.

If I was speculating it would be that Hasan was allowed to run amok because he was under surveillance by a federal agency trying to identify other American jihadists inside and outside the Army.

That's a rational assumption. But the questions becomes, for what purpose? If it goes to law enforcement, it goes right to Eric Holder's desk. If it stays in the military, it goes to Obama. If someone in Intel wants to inform congress, it goes to John Conyers. Who trusts any of them? I can't see anyone ratting out terrorists knowing who is at the top of the chain of commands in our country.

I just don't get it - out of all that talent at FNC, Shep gets, not one, but two shows a day. Ugh! We watch the evening news report, then change to Jeopardy and Two and Half Men before coming back to FNC for O'Reilly!
