Our founding fathers realized how an uncontrolled runaway centralized tyrannical big government could be and therefore wisely wrote that states rights trump federal government in most if not all cases. The founding fathers wisely enumerated the few powers the federal government could have and they necessarily limited those powers for the sake of the people and the republic. The founding fathers were very wise intelligent and intuitive men.
