I see Veteran’s Day as a chance for America to say thank you to it’s military and living veterans.

I see Memorial Day as a day of remembrance of heroes no longer with us.

In the St. Louis area, Applebee’s is offering free dinner on Veteran’s Day to all vet’s. This kind of respect should be honored and I’m going to say thank you to Applebees by adding them to the list of restaurants I frequent.

I attended a Vet’s Day parade over the weekend and was surprised at how often my eyes welled up.

Freedom and Liberty will always be under attack.

Attacked by those that hate it, and those that do not know and understand what it is.

That is why we will always need the men and women that are willing to serve as defenders of freedom and liberty, as our past veterans have, and are serving today.

Let us honor and give thanks to all those that have served and are now serving!
