Hannity never said that the footage was from the Bachmann event.

If true then bad on Sean and he deserved to get caught.
Conservatives need nothing other than accuracy and truth in reporting to get their message across to all the decent folk in this country and the others will take serious notice when they figure out we’re not spinning or lying like they are.

So Hannity shows a clip of a different day where thousands of people were protesting deathcare and and Stewart’s logic is what again?

Uh, these guys can’t even get the fact that the event wasn’t organized by Beck.
I believe the correct estimate of the Tea Party protest was closer to a million, per the Capitol Police and Dept. of the Interior.

Wow John Stewart that reknowed investigative REPORTER.
When a Dum talk show host “reports” on an issue it makes the news.

He sound have said that it was from another event. We have to be scrupulously honest and we would be trumpeting this if it happened to Olbermann.

When you're over the target, you take the most flak. I didn't see Hannity's show - but I'm pretty sure they weren't trying to fraudulently portray the turnout as anything it wasn't.
The libs are obsessed by the numbers of people showing up to "teabag". Now they are girding their loins for Sarah's book tour next week. They're getting all wee-wee'd up about it.

If intentional this is inexcusable. Blame it on staff or whatever but the fact remains, it was misleading. CNN has been caught doing similar things and pretty much has ruined their own reputation because of bias’, manipulation and one incident that clearly stands out in my memory is the one that the reporters in Iraq had clear evidence of the torture being done by Sadam Hussain and yet refused to air it (PC in full throttle).
FOX must demand a higher standard .... complete truth.

Just estimating like the way the left estimates. The 912 march looked like around a million from the wide shots.

On the screen it said EARLIER. As in earlier that day. There needs to be an explaination. It could have been an innocent mistake.

I doubt that Hannity even knew where the footage was from. The producers put those things together for airing and most of the time the show’s host only sees them when the viewers do.

Why do the libs care about the crowd sizes at either event? They ignored them anyway.

Yes, I suspect that is what happened. But we all know it comes out that Hannity was lying. If Olbermann’s producers slipped up similarly, we would be mocking Olbermann.
That is why it shouldn’t happen.

Sorry.
“Plausible Deniability” isn’t going to cover it.
It’s Sean’s show.
It has his name on it, not the producer’s.
Hold his feet to the fire in an appropriate manner.
If a lefty did this, I’d expect some outrage as well.

I love it when Conservatives take responsibility, admit mistakes, apologize and correct the problem.
Diffuses the situation in a responsible manner.
Good on him.
