WASHINGTON — Self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees will be sent to New York to face trial in a civilian federal court, an Obama administration official said Friday.
The official said Attorney General Eric Holder plans to announce the decision later in the morning.
The official is not authorized to discuss the decision before the announcement, so spoke on condition of anonymity.

Now this individual, pictured below on the left of the photo, is using him as his own political pawn and tool to justify civilian court for those whose very appearance there will be a travesty. Disgusting.
I hope those in power who let this Quisling ascend to the highest office in the land are pleased. An investigation into his background, his campaign finances and activities in Chicago and elsewhere should have been launched and the results leaked to a vigilant press. Unfortunately, those who now complain about what this man is doing to the CIA and the military and our government had the power to actually do something to avert the travesty/trauma this Islamic Quisling is now inflicting upon us.
What will be left of this country when this Trojan Horse Precedent has repaid all of his Islamist oil supporters, his SDS/Communist-Socialist Party friends, his NWO/CFR connections?
Survive? They’ll thrive. Who’s going to stop them, the Aryan Brotherhood? They’re more likely to join them than take on the islamists.
The Muslims have been working on taking over the prisons and turning them into recruiting/training centers for years. Nobody will cross them in the joint. Nobody.
With respect, the changes are far greater than “slight” that these individuals will either be found not guilty or a mistrial declared for failure of the government to disclose all relevant evidence. O.J. Simpson got off when the evidence against him was overwhelming. We should not be under any illusion that the prosecution will be able to bring forth witnesses to put the finger on these people, when some of them may be dead or whereabouts unknown. There’s probably some illiterate goatherder living in a hut in Yemen, who provided key evidence, who will never be brought to the US to testify.

Even if not personally, he now has all the inside info he could possibly want. What’s to stop him from passing it along to their defenders? Nothing. His past record on Gitmo gives us all we need to know about his “loyalties”.

I guess I was trying to give the Obama administration the benefit of doubt. Seriously, Obama will have riots on his hands if any of these guys walks free. Our nation will be torn apart, and there will be blood in the streets, guaranteed.
So I can’t believe the Obama people would risk allowing that to happen. But maybe they’re oblivious to that reality. If they are, wow- just wow.

I would give the people of NYC's fifth bourough a pass on that. Staten Island went for McCain/Palin.
