Who’s that comin down the chimney?
It’s the government santa
Now gimme gimme gimme My Fair Share

I’m the government santa
I’m a jolly old elf
I will gladly do for you
what you used to do for yourself
I will wave my magic wand
and promise a million jobs
by robbing from Peter and giving to Paul
its me that really gets it all

I’m the government Santa
offering stuff for free
but once you sign on the dotted line
your soul belongs to me

i’ll convince you that you have no hope
Unless you hang yourself with my rope
welcome, sucker, to the slippery slope

I’m the government Santa
I seem like a generous guy
I’m spreadin the wealth with universal health
Yet I’m the one who shrinks the pie
You see this sack hangin on my back
Full of bailouts, rebates and stimulus checks
I’ll convince you that they’re better than sex

I’m the government Santa
I love bureaucracy
If you disagree that’s bigotry
You’ll find a lawsuit under your tree

I’ll bring you compassion
You know its always in fashion,
Everybody gonna cash in
And get a piece of the action
