We need to do something to restore the Constitution.. Look what the Left is doing already.. What do we have to lose?

We can lose the words we supposedly live under now, and we could end up validating the left’s idiocy with respect to what our government SHOULD be.

I want our constitution enforced, not thrown away.

Just saw Guilliani on FoxNews with Neal Cavuto.

Guilliani blasted Obama, called him incompetent, said his warped ideology was driving this. Called it dangerous, said Gitmo and military tribunal was the proper setting because 9-11 was an act of war, not a criminal court matter.

I wish Guilliani was still the mayor. He got it! I think he may be running for governor - I can’t wait. I worked in the court area and left after 9-11. I just called a few people I used to work with and they’re leaving - both liberals who voted for Obama. I ripped into them - told them they should be part of the jury.

There’s going to be even greater exodus from the city than the already 1 1/2 million who’ve left in the last number of years. Most of them are heading south. Pisses me off because it means that conservativism in those states may make them purple, if not, blue.

2012 can’t come soon enough.

At first it sounded like a frightening prospect.. That our entire Constitution would be vulnerable to drastic change. From what I've read and heard there are safe guards. Everything in it won't necessarily be changed. And, nothing could be changed without ratification.
But then if the Left isn't abiding by the Constitution now.. Who and what could make them follow it ever. It seems they are making stuff up as they go along. They are imposing outragous laws and us they don't follow themselves. It's out and out Communism. I just know we have to do something to get them to stop destroying the lives of Americans.. Even the politicians we've voted in don't listen to our wishes. What can we do stop this insanity?

Good for you! They deserved it.

This should put our minds at ease.../s

President Obama said he is “absolutely convinced” that Khalid Sheik Mohammad, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, will be subject to “the most exacting demands of justice” when he faces trial.

“This is a prosecutorial decision as well as a national security decision,” Obama said today in Tokyo during a brief press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama at Kantei, the prime minister’s official residence.

“The American people insist on it. My administration will insist on it,” the president said of the terror prosecution.

This is just mind boggling. We've got yes man Holder making this announcement this morning that is so far out of the realm of reason there's no words to properly express my feelings here.

We've got our glorious leader, Zer0 in Japan flat out lying to the Japanese Prime Minister and the Japanese people regarding “the most exacting demands of justice."

Here at home we have Jerrold Nadler supporting Obama and Holder saying it's just wonderful these terrorists will be tried in his district.

Excerpt:

"I applaud the decision to bring those individuals responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center to New York to face trial in our federal courts," Nadler said in a statement. "New York is not afraid of terrorists, we want to confront them, we want to bring them to justice, and we want to hold them accountable for their despicable actions."

Ground Zero's congressman welcomes 9/11 suspects to district for trial

It seems to me this is another day that should go down in infamy due to our enemy within.

No doubt about it.

On a happier note, Rudy Gulliani was a powerful voice of sanity on FoxNews with Neal Cavuto today...

High praise for Rudy Giuliani, he’s dead on the money and tells it just exactly like it is.

I agree with every word except when he said Eric Holder is a good man.

I agree with you about Holder. I think Rudy may have been trying to make the point that Holder is just a lackey and that the real responsibility for this detestable decision rests squarely with Obama.

Here’s a Rudy quote published in Politico earlier today...

A statement from former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani concerning today’s news that Guantanamo Bay detainees will face trial here in New York:

“Returning some of the Guantanamo detainees to New York City for trial, specifically Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, has now brought us full circle — we have regressed to a pre-9/11 mentality with respect to Islamic extremist terrorism. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed should be treated like the war criminal he is and tried in a military court. He is not just another murderer, or even a mass murderer. He murdered as part of a declared war against us — America.

This is the same mistake we made with the 1993 terrorists who attacked the World Trade Center. We treated them like domestic criminals, when in fact they were terrorists. In the dangerous world we live in today, a nation unable to identify and properly define its enemies is a nation in danger.” – Rudy Guliani

BTW, I wonder when we’ll get a statement from Murtha...

Rudy certainly did nail that.

That’s a good question on Murtha giving a statement. I imagine there aren’t a lot of people in his district that are going to agree with Obama and Holder on this. At the same time I doubt Fat Jack will want to go on the record as opposing Zer0 and his thugs as well as Pelosi and Reid.

We may not hear anything from him on this or maybe just some double speak on it from him.

You're right, but that might not stop the loudmouth since he thinks his constituents are all racists and rednecks anyway. Remember when he wanted to move Gitmo to his district! :-)

So true, I forgot about his prison thing and I didn’t read anything about there being any outrage about it tho I wasn’t checking your local papers. He’s so arrogant I guess he feels he can say anything and get away with it.

Is this this trial limited to the two planes that went into the WTC or does it include Flight 93 and the plane that went into the Pentagon?

I am curious as to why NYC and not DC (or PA for that matter). Surely Holder and Obama were not afraid to have this trial in DC.

Yes, he was on Neal Cavuto’s show. He spoke as a former prosecutor and the mayor of NYC. See the video.

Hah! Interesting point, I’d bet those two turkeys want no part of having the trials in DC.
