Yeah, we NEED term limits, Captain Obvious. But no congress will EVER allow that to happen. If you believe the term limits can be instituted, you must also believe in the tooth fairy. Misuse of franchise isn't a reason we should remove it from all. It's the best way to say to a politician, "no matter what you do, you are wholly separated from your constituency." And it begs the question: "If you don't trust the voters on the candidates last term, why could you trust them for the previous term? Or the one before that?" and then, "Why trust them at all?"
