Not possible. He would need the military, which as a whole despises him. Congress can defund the military, the President can’t. The military won’t let such a thing happen. And neither will Secret Service, who watch his every move.
Yes, Obama would need the military to set himself up as dictator.
But that fact wouldn’t stop him from an attempt. I believe he realizes any attempt to remove him from the Presidency for trying to set himself up as a dictator would result in massive civil disobediance, both by his supporters and by any opponents.
The whole purpose would be to cause anarchy, the result would be to remove the U.S.A. as a superpower.
