The General is correct. Our President and Attorney General Holder are seeking a way to close Gitmo and turn these terrorists loose.

Holder says he feels confident he can convict . I have as much confidence in Holder as I do in Arnold Schwarzneggar saving California’s economy.

Can’t we just implant tracking devices in detainees so they lead us to other cells? I mean, this is so simple.

Holder feels confident that they will not be convicted. He said yesterday that if they were found not guilty or the case was thrown out on technicalities (no Miranda rights, for example), he would try to find some place outside of the US to put the terrorists.

That was supposed to placate Americans who are outraged by this, but all it tells me is that he expects them to get off, one way or the other.

About as confident as Gil Garcedi was with an OJ conviction. That worked out, didn't it!

To my post above, I did not mean to diminish the seriousness of this circumstance...

Not to go off topic, but when I saw that the animal who brutalized and murdered that female news anchor in Texas got off without the DP, it hit me that wrong is now right, right is now wrong, and down is up. Before it’s all over, these murdering terrorists will be writing books and going on the lecture circuits at all the college campuses.

You’re right - and don’t forget, “a jury of their peers” will mean a muslim jury ... they’ll get off.

I have to wonder if this will ever come to trial at all. I’ll bet you there are numerous motions to dismiss filed almost right off the bat, citing numerous violations of “Constitutional Rights”. It’s too late to Mirandize KSM, and it’s pretty clear that he already incriminated himself by agreeing to plead guilty at his Tribunal, and he wants to be made a martyr.

Nothing good can come of this. Nothing.

Better yet, implant remote control bombs in them...use their tactics against them.

It is. No doubt about it. There is no other explanation.

So what sort of fools does he take us for? If KSM gets acquitted, on what grounds can we detain him and hand him over to another government? What if the judge orders his immediate resease? Arguably, KSM is an "undocumented worker" and we could deport him to his alleged home country-- but don't count on it.

He couldn’t be deported because they don’t want him either and he would argue that he would be subject to jail and “mistreatment” if sent there - that’s the whole problem with the Gitmo folks, nobody wants to take them and if poor little dears complain that if they get sent back to their home countries, they’ll be “tortured.”

In other words, this is a setup. The treasonous Holder and his treasonous boss know perfectly well that now that they are in this country, they’re not going anywhere and regardless of the outcome of the trial, they’re going to be permanent residents of the US.
