"I’m sorry that the connection between Barack Obama and Joe Biden is over your head. Next time I’ll address my comment to someone more up on national affairs."

You're being deliberately obtuse and obnoxious. I would ask why, but I honestly don't care. You can shove your nonsensical response and your insults where the sun don't shine. We have nothing further to discuss.

You are right. Thanks. 4 days. Still something is missing, 4*707 is about 2800. As you note, AP says “well over 3,000” undefined is how much is “well over” ? 100? 400?

Did Palin bill Alaska for all of the travel or part of the travel? Did the state pay for both Palins or just the Governor?

I have attended many conferences as a speaker where the hotel expense was paid by the conference. My employer's expenses were the transportation.

I have also taken a couple of extra days as vacation days at my expense before or after conferences.

Alaska to NY is a heck of a trip, and is expensive. We don't know if there was a study stay-over, when were the tickets booked, coach, or first class?

I don't know what the airfare was when the trip was taken, I just searched travel.yahoo.com RT Juneau to Laguardia for 12/7 - 12/11 lowest nonrefundable ticket is $445, Business Class is $853 per person. (and that is with two week advance notice) The trip itself would take 11 to 17 hours.

AP had ten people working on this hit piece.

“AP writers Matt Apuzzo, Sharon Theimer, Tom Raum, Rita Beamish, Beth Fouhy, H. Josef Hebert, Justin D. Pritchard, Garance Burke, Dan Joling and Lewis Shaine contributed to this report.”

Did you mean ‘often’ as in frequesntly or ‘orfen’, as in a child that has lost his parents?
