Juarez in the late forties and fifies was a great place to visit and Tijuana was where we went in the eighties for dental work. Now I wouldn’t even think about crossing the border.

“The Obama administration has shifted away from the dramatic workplace raids that were a hallmark of the Bush administration’s enforcement strategy. Under President Obama, the Department of Homeland Security says it is putting pressure on employers who break the law.”
I think a very effective campaign would be to continually SHOW the LibTards that their Messiah is JUST AS BAD, if not WORSE than President Bush ever was, LOL! Illegals are still being found and fired...just secretly, this time around.
Shhhhhhh! ;)

Did you see the SEIU statement?
"Enforcement without comprehensive reform is like redecorating when the house is on fire. Instead of solving problems, it only succeeds in pushing undocumented workers away from responsible employers and deeper into the shadows--benefitting the most unscrupulous off-the-books employers and degrading the quality of life for the rest of us. In the end, we are no where closer to solving the broken immigration system: communities lose; responsible businesses lose; families lose."

It will NEVER stop until the market goes away....or until the punishment for getting caught dealing is so horrible that nobody would even take the chance of getting caught. This means horrible, painful, long lasting torture. Death won't do it because it is too quick....and we know for damn sure that long prison sentences will not do it because over half of all prisoners are there because of drugs.
So....my friends, the WOD will continue, because....our government don't have the balls to even play loud music at prisoners.
It will continue because the punishment for using is so meager that nobody is afraid.
It will continue because the "reward" is high and the risk is small....and nobody wants to legalize, tax and control drugs.
So it goes.....never to stop....

Just to re-emphasize the failure of the legalization argument to other readers: Mexico HAS decriminalized ALL drugs, including heroin, cocaine, etc (in consumer quantities) and the violence has not subsided, but is increasing to such levels that the actual source behind the violence is not being reported nor investigated.

The market for drugs is not Mexico....the market is here.....
.....this is where the high prices are paid, for it is here where stupid people with money reside. If the drug dealers had to make their money in Mexico, they would be out of business tomorrow...
....the violence in Mexico is not about supplying Mexicans, it is about who gets to run drugs into the U.S....therefore, Mexico's legalization scheme will never have an effect on the WOD....but legalization here would have a huge effect on the WOD...
....but nobody wants to go down that road...
....and the violence continues...
