Is this the start of Obama's new civilian army? As powerful, as well equipped as our regular military. Their new Army base to be located in a new prison in Illinois?

The easy resolution is to make them citizens and release them in Chicago where Mayor Daley has laws against anyone owning firearms. Problem solved.

Like you, I find his rhetoric about a "civilian service corps" frightening! But I don't go so far as seeing him creating a virile militaristic militia. I see his goal as an economic takeover of the US economy.
