Honduras Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya insisted late Saturday that he will not accept any deal to restore him to office if it means he must recognize elections later this month.
In a letter addressed to President Barack Obama, Zelaya also repeated his accusation that Washington reversed its stance on whether the Nov. 29 vote should be considered legitimate if he was not in office.
"As the elected president of the Honduran people, I reaffirm my position that starting today, no matter what, I will not accept any agreement on returning to the presidency of the republic to cover up this coup d'etat," Zelaya said, reading from the letter on Globo radio.

More Hopie Changie Commie BS
Isn’t his 15 minutes over - again?
The funny thing is, that under the Honduran Constitution, once his term is up, Zelaya is one of the very few adult Hondurans who is ineligible to hold the office.
Obama will send in the troops to support him.
OK fine. So he’s the president as long as he stays in the Brazilian embassy and has absolutely no control. Somebody buy that man a plastic phone so he can play president.
Yep, it is incredible. After the elections it should be interesting.
What please me most is that Obozo has egg all over his face over this mess. Unfortunately the press has not exposed this for what it is, but we both new that would not happen.
“”As the elected president of the Honduran people, I reaffirm my position that starting today, no matter what, I will not accept any agreement on returning to the presidency of the republic to cover up this coup d’etat,” Zelaya said, reading from the letter on Globo radio.”
Fine Zelaya, you can go to jail for 15 years for stealing 2 million dollars from a local bank.
This one has blown up badly in the face of the Obama Admin. But that’s what happens when you start with a lie and then try to keep running with it. In this case, Zelaya has shown exactly why he was legally removed from office, and it has put the Obama Admin in a pickle. And true to form, they will just try to stonewall the problem away by trying to now ignore Zelaya. But the problem with stonewalling all the time is that sooner or later, those who don’t pay a lot of attention (i.e., indepedent voters) will eventually take notice.
It will be interesting to see if the Obama Maladministration, in fervor to restore the Marxist dictator, will openly oppose free elections in Honduras.
Zelaya was just practicing the usual Commie tactics. Stealing other peoples money. (/sarcasm)
Commies create nothing. Only take from those who do, and destroy nations and subject people.
“Commies create nothing. Only take from those who do, and destroy nations and subject people.”
In a nutshell.
Mr. niteowl77
The election is just two weeks away. Mr. Zelaya and his childish ensconcement in the Brazilian embassy have very little relevance at this point.
Interesting too that Brazil now has a mad-on at Zelava protector/instigator Hugo Chavez about his essentially declaring war on Columbia.
This Honduras Commie dictator may soon find himself
to be the disparaged and fully dispensable pawn in a war of calculated moves between Brazil and Venezuela.
Now that would be both Karmic and cool!
Now the next obstacle is the election.
Reports are out this morning that Chavez has sent in weapons to be used to disrupt the elections. So far Micheletti has been able to control the “paid street demonstrators” (rent a mob).
There have been casualties however. Micheletti’s nephew and an Army Colonel.
Pray for the brave Hondurans.
We should call Obama “The fly” Because he craps on everything he lands on.
I see a Nobel prize in Zelaya’s future, and an exalted position in the climate change racket.
As long as he refuses to recognize them from some other venue, who cares?
