Unfortunately, this “conservative” site has been hijacked by Libertarians and various other third party zealots — President Reagan (a proud REPUBLICAN) is rolling over in his grave!

[FYI: If you read President Reagan’s “Diary”, you will discover that many of the same ‘conservatives’ who are now bashing President Bush were also bashing Reagan in his day . . . some things never change!]

Yep- that was the changing point and it’s been downhill for the US ever since - especially the US economy.

During the first few months of The Buffoon’s presidency someone wrote that by the time this guy gets through Republicans will long for Clinton and Democrats will long for Bush.

was anybody really surprised that he went to Ft Hood shortly after the terrorist attack to comfort families and wounded? I wasn’t!

I had no idea he went.. now that you mention it though, it makes perfect sense that he'd be there for our troops.

Lord knows I didn't agree with President Bush on everything but I at least had some modicum of respect for him.

Can't say that about the current buffoon that occupies the Poeple's House.

Once of my best friends who lives in CO sent me an email this morning after I sent this article to her - she was shocked that W went to Ft Hood and the media didn’t play it up....I asked her why she was so surprised!

I meant to complain about the Bush bashers..I didn’t meant to complain about any of your posts. So sorry if that’s how it came out.

God Bless George W. Bush...a decent man and a wonderful President, I agree with you.
I really miss him, more every day.

"Read my lips. It was Papa Bush who opened the door for Clinton. The Bush family is one of the worst things to ever happen to the GOP and the country"

Oh please. Can we go easy on the drama? President Reagan handpicked George Senior and he did a nice job, except for the "read my lips" blunder. GW was a fine President and kept us safe and strong during the worst terror attack within our borders.GW is a good man and Laura was a classy First Lady

Compared to what we have now......it's easy to say that it seems eons ago when we had a real President........

Yep. Fully agree. But Obama can read the teleprompter better than GW. Obama is polished in that single sense. Everything else is smoke, mirrors and hollow.

The worst mistake Reagan ever made. And GHWB was selected to balance the ticket. Kemp would have been a much better pick.

One of Bush’s most obvious faults was that he had the mistaken idea that he could foster harmony and bring bipartisanship to Congress by working with the opposition party, even though Democrats double crossed him numerous times.

I think that says more about the duplicity of the Democrats.

The Buffoon’s presidiency? LOL! I love it. I think that I will refer to “it” that way in the future, if you don’t mind.

I loved George Bush when he was first running for office. I loved George Bush more the day he was first inaugurated. I loved George Bush more the day he was re-elected. I loved Georgy Bush even more the day he left office. I love George Bush now more than ever.

I did not love Bush when he was elected. I only voted for him because my guy didn't win the nomination. I had low expectations, but I was wrong. He was a great leader.

Reagan was a wonderful President and I miss him too, but like Dubya, Reagan was cozy with rats like Speaker Tip O'Neil, and agreed to tax increases on rat promises of spending cuts that "shockingly" never materialized. I don't remember Dubya putting a liberal woman like Sandy O'Connor on the SCOTUS, or giving amnesty to 3 million illegals, or turning tail and fleeing after 241 American soldiers were killed in a terrorist bombing in Lebanon.
