Another power dyke who believes she can ‘turn’ a (supremely hot) straight woman.

I suspect that much like international summits, these sort of political summits are not left to chance. The staffs work out ahead of time what the outcome is going to be, who says what, etc.

I wouldn't trust the Dems to follow any established norms. They're too desperate to destroy Palin, and Hillary could score some big points by helping the cause.

Bill Clinton said he’d be happy to meet her under the covers.

Seriously, though, I think this would be a good move for both of them.

If Sarah or any other Republican is going to beat Obama, having a good chunk of Clinton voters will be a huge help. They got around 15% last yr. Probably would have been 20 or higher if the economy hadn’t collapsed.

So, if a good number of Clinton supporters, especially in rust belt states like Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida see them say good things to one another or reach out or whatever, that can only help.

I have no doubt at all that Hillary and Bill still despise Obama for portraying them as racists and using the media to their bidding and bring them down, and they’d like nothing more than to take him dowm so that Bill remains the only 2 term dem President since FDR.

if health care passes he’ll already have accomplished everything so there’d be no need to keep him anyway.

If Obama goes down in 2012 that discredits him and his wing of the party and opens the door for Hillary in 2016.

Sarah Palin is a hot commodity right now. While trying to destroy her, the media created a huge amount of interest. When people get just a little past the innitial bashing they realize that she is a likable person with genuine convictions with an appeal along the same lines as President Reagan. It is very entertaining that even the Marxist Hillary would try to tap into Sarah's appeal. Sarah should probably stay away. Hillary http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3414/3224511373_1820796638_d.jpg

Remember when Clinton was going to speak against the UN appearance of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and when she heard Sarah was invited to speak, decided instead to not give her speech, which then got Sarah disinvited? Don’t trust Thunder Thighs or BJ Lewinski. The Beast is only seeking to elevate herself to Sarah’s status now.

I believe Sarah is smart enough to figure out the politics of this situation herself. Any encounter between the two will take place only if Sarah is pretty sure that Hillary will be the fall girl.

Note to President-to-be Sarah Palin:

Bring your own coffeee, cup, sugar, cream, spoon and whatever else you need for a coffee with SWMNBN.
