The new wave of female firebrands striking fear into liberal America (heh)
The Guardian (U.K.) ^ | 11/15/09 | Paul Harris

She is a striking brunette with a decidedly outspoken attitude. She lambasts President Barack Obama as a socialist and has become the darling of America's right-wing activists who flock to her appearances. She is hated by liberals and loved by conservatives.

Sarah Palin? Not quite. Meet Michele Bachmann, a Republican congresswoman from Minnesota who is being hailed as a new and increasingly powerful voice in American politics

The American Male has been so disparaged since the 60’s that they are all too afraid to speak out,

and they have been marginalized to the point that any truth they tell will be discounted as the rantings of an “angry white male”. This was by design. Who hates truth? The left, and their “father”.

Fine, let Godly women come forth to speak the truth.

The men may then step up and understand that they, too, may speak the truth and regain leadership roles.

I think the elites and the world media have no idea how to handle strong outspoken women from the right. Forty years of feminist theory has trained them that such things are not possible.

Michelle Bachmann is an amazing person. Here is how she got into politics. She is a role model for all of us angry about the current state of things in US politics.

Bachmann was a wife and mother who was involved in her local politics. There was an old RINO State Senator who had represent her district who was voting more and more often with the Democrats in the Senate.

The voters in her district were upset. She got up, did not shower or anything, went to the district Saturday Convention to ask some pointed questions about him. The people, impressed with her knowledge and passion, told her she should run against him in the primary. On the spur of the moment she decided to do it.

She won the primary. She won the election. After serving in the Minnesota State Senate, she decided to run for an open Congressional Seat that had been vacated by a guy running for US Senate.

She won and is now in the US House on her 2nd term.

She is a example to all of us angry about the state of politics in the US. She did not just complain about it, she got involved and is making a huge difference.

You have nailed it MrB!

It's intereting and instructive that of the four mentioned in the article-Sarah Palin, Michelles Malkin and Bachmann, and Ann Coulter, three of them are the epitome of the left's sanctified "working moms", and it must really be a threat to the Left when they speak out.

I bet English liberals would be thrown into a frothing fit if both Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann were said to be “potentially like Margaret Thatcher.”

Once gain we have to look outside of the U.S. Obama controlled media for such insights as this article from a London paper.

Posting pics is pretty easy, as long as you get the URL where they are hosted. You can get that by right clicking an image online and selecting "properties". Cut and paste that into the following HTML:

< img src="put your image url here" / >

don't forget the quotes, or it won't work.

I like Bachmann. Not to compare them but Michelle seems to have more substance than Sarah. Will watch for upcoming developments in the 2010 races. Is the other Senator from Minnesota up for reelection soon?

If it takes a woman (or women) to save this country so be it. It will also be my pleasure to watch their back.

It’s never too late for someone to say the right words, sing the right song. Politics is a blood sport and few, save the 273 millionaires in congress, want to give up a normal life to participate.

It’s no surprise to me that these two women are on the front lines of freedom....they have NINE children between them (plus Bachmann’s foster kids). These moms see the future for their kids...and it ain’t pretty. No one should be surprised that they sound willing to lie on railroad tracks, for the right outcome. Do you blame them?

Their fire doesn’t raise an eyebrow around here. I’m the parent of only one, and I’m scared shitless, too!!!
