Europe has suffered many devastating plagues.

Nope- sure won’t be good- pneumonic plague is a fast spreadign plague if it ever gets going- I’ve read that we actually have it here in the US- it’s just lying dormant for now in animals- and we also have beubonic plague, as well as hunta virus and several other really nasty plagues and viruses- Every so often, you’ll hear about trappers or hunters who get the beubonic plague from handling infected animals, and we get outbreaks like hte hunta virus from infected rats or mice that crop up- but this pneumonic plague is a bad bad deal if it starts spreading- especially in third world countries- hopefully this won’t be the case-

It's my understanding that the results of the sequencing of the Ukraine H1N1 are back in and that it is NOT plague; however, there have been dozens of peculiar articles about the Ukraine Outbreak, so I'm still keeping an eye out on developments.
