What could be taking so long? 10,000 votes isn’t hard to count.

Something fishy here....

They are busy forging ballots so they can hide them in someone's closet for a surprise discovery at a later date if the race gets to close.

You fight your war, not their’s!

Absolutely, I saw George Foreman lose a fight to Jimmy Young because he forgot to fight his own fight. Foreman defeated himself in that fight. I also saw George Foreman come back years later as the “old man” and destroy a young man in his twenties by fighting his own fight. In that fight Foreman used his huge arms and his height to put up a defense the younger man could not begin to penetrate and then at every opportunity he knocked the stuffings out of the young guy until the boy failed to come out of his corner at the bell. When asked why he didn’t come out he replied that he was tired of taking all those shots. He knew he couldn’t land a blow so he refused to keep taking a beating.

Owens would have been seated whether Hoffman had conceded or not.

Pelosi isn’t giving up Owens. Hoffman lost when he conceded. He should have waited for the absentee votes to come in. Owens now has the illusion of being a Congressman.

I agree with you and I'm sure the democrats will cheat in any way necessary to retain Owens. Hoffman didn't lose when he conceded. Firstly, he conceded based upon false information. Secondly, the race has not been certified, which would bring into question the validity of Owens being sworn in.

Good examples. Cassius Clay named the fight or claimed what he planned on doing - like it was his - and then it’s a mind game for his and weaken his opponent before the fight- fighting Ali’s fight.

Hoffman lost when he conceded.

I didn't mean that literally, but in effect his concession gave the signal that there would be no "contest", giving the green light to Pelosi to swear him in. Owens has won the perception game. Any change of outcome now will trigger review by the House. Guess who they will choose? Facts don't matter there. Indiana Bloody Eighth, 1984.

You make a good point regarding which court will make the decision as well as the trustworthiness of that court’s ability to actually stick to the real laws. It’s a sad age where one can not trust the courts to produce justice.

Somehow these efforts to have “loose end” bags or boxes of votes needs to be cleaned up...This always seems to happen in states that appear to have election bodies that are always on the edge of corruption...

I would probably not so much question the votes themselves at first...My first questions would be to the shlups bringing that garbage into the spotlight after the fact...

“Where the hell have these (ballots) been all this time!”

“Who are you, and what is your affiliation???”

“We are going to investigate YOU, before we even break the seals, or even look at these votes first!”

“If there is any doubt or question to who you are, and what your affiliations are, these votes do not count, and YOU need to be held accountable for your negligence in these proceedings...Any criminal activities involved with these votes, and you WILL be charged with those crimes!”

This is the kind of jeopardy that needs to permiate through the entire country togroups and or officials that run their elections so sloppy that this kind of stuff happens...

Put a few folks in prison for election fraud or “unfortunate” oversights or mistakes, and I bet elections start to clean up all by themselves...

Just my opinion...

And I have never, ever, and will never have a problem getting my ballots in my precinct to the collection point on time and fully accounted for...It just happens, it just makes it easier that way, to do it the right way...Some liberals just cannot manage to do anything totally right...It must be genetic...

Part of successfully challenging the DNC machine is to recognize that politics to these guys is a blood sport...not the local country club rules committee or condo association.

Right now, it would seem that Hoffman's chances of winning with the absentee ballots are slim and none. Trailing by 3,000 votes with 10,000 absentees to be counted, he would need a 30 point plurality in those ballots. Generally speaking, the the absentee ballots break fairly close percentagewise as compared to the other votes. So a 30 point margin would be too much to expect.

Hoffman does have every right to be teed off at the miscounting errors that were supposedly corrected, and to "unconcede." But his "unconceding" is merely a ceremonial protest.

Hoffman should be preparing ASAP for a Republican primary campaign for the same seat next year.

Absolutely. Even if he gets enough votes to win, the RATS are not going to give up the seat.
