We are being positively bombarded on the radio - all different kinds of stations - with ads sponsored by the AFL-CIO, proclaiming health care victory in the House and encouraging us to thank our local rep. They are claiming unlimited coverage (no lifetime caps) with no denials for pre-existing conditions, while lowering premiums and deductibles and making it easier for working families.
Considering how few Americans seem to be reading these days, I don’t doubt these ads are believed.
Really? If somebody at my job offered me $100 to find somebody in the office who agrees with this, I'd have hard time collecting.
Zero's numbers are looking this bad while still cooking the books in his favor, that's really something. 47% agree with healthcare? They must've ran this poll on the streets of San Francisco.
I can't find it on this particular page, but something like 16% have "no opinion". There is a percentage that doesn't know or care, but it isn't 1 in 6, it's more like 1 in 50.
It was so painful for MSNBC to announce today that their Quinnipiac poll shows Zero’s job approval at 48%. Dan Abrams, however, was quick to note that the phraseology regarding Afghanistan left most little alternative but to answer we must continue to fight. No mention as to the skewed question concerning his job approval number. No need.
