The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12 (see trends). Just 29% agree with the decision to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and five other terrorists suspects in a New York city courtroom. Fifty-one percent (51%) disagree. Support for the health care plan working its way through Congress is up to 47%, but 49% remain opposed. The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook. Overall, 49% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove. Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Republican voters say that Sarah Palin shares their values. Just 18% see her as a divisive force within the GOP.

I’m interested in seeing the numbers when KSM arrives in NY for his trial and it really starts to hit the fan.

In our household, he hit -100 on January 20. Been holding steady at that level ever since.

47% support health care, we’re on a slippery slope, just like the gay marriage votes keep getting closer, we’re going over the cliff unless more people wake up soon.

Out of those 47% who support health care, wait until they get it and see what it is, but by then it will be too late.

Why is this important? Who cares what the this number is and you shouldn't care either. it's meaningless and statistical noise. A good majority of people in the US didn't want to go to war in 1861 and throughout the war it remained unpopular. In 1775 a large majority of our population we now call Canadians wanted to remain loyal to the crown. A majority of people wanted segregation laws, Jim Crow laws, and 15 years ago over 50% of people agreed with abortion for BC reasons according to the media. Right is right and fixating on what some bullcrap MSM driven poll shouldn't cause you to blink one eye. We need to ignore the push polls and fight on. I can tell you the politicians are but the MSM is using them to dispirit you.

I just thought maybe that’s one reason why the numbers were dropping even further, that’s all...
