A good majority of people in the US didn't want to go to war in 1861 and throughout the war it remained unpopular. In 1775 a large majority of our population we now call Canadians wanted to remain loyal to the crown. A majority of people wanted segregation laws, Jim Crow laws, and 15 years ago over 50% of people agreed with abortion for BC reasons according to the media. So, disregard these polls and like you say...doesn’t really matter if they are true...right is right. We fight whether we are majority or minority.
