Being young and dumb at the time, I remember buying in to the media's portrayal of Ronald Reagan as an ignorant buffoon - until that is, I started paying attention to the man's words. And I couldn't help but think, "you know, for a dumb guy, he's pretty witty and charming. And he makes sense when he speaks."

Of course, I'm older and wiser now, but I can't help thinking that the same thing will happen when people actually start listening to the now unfettered Sarah Palin.

You hit the nail on the head. Mrs. Palin is a wonderfully articulate, intelligent, strong individual who is worthy of everyones respect whether they agree with her politically or not.

I simply adore her and get very angry at the disrespect the pigs show her.

I think it will and for the same reason. Hate-fatigue and overload from the left will backfire in due course, if conservatives support Palin and stay the course.

Since there are no other viable candidates out there at this point, we need some one to carry the flag. She may not make it to the nom, but until someone else steps up better, she is a charismatic voice for our side.

Yes. Sarah Palin is smart as a whip. And Joe Biden is as dumb as a rock. But you’d never know it from the news media or the self-annointed intellectuals.

George Bush was not as smart as Sarah, IMHO, but he did a lot better in college than Al Gore. You’d never know that, though, if you just listened to the mediots.
