You made me think of the irony that voting against Palin/Coulter would not be considered sexist. Just as voting against Alan Keyes would not be considered racist.

By contrast women or minority candidates on the left who win elections always have that heir of being an affirmative action hire, where one might be suspected of racism or sexism if they oppose them.

An elected black leader who is progressive is considered a "black leader". An elected black leader who is conservative is still just who they really are.

Face it. To progressives, merely not being progressive essentially makes you a suspect for racism or sexism. Where being blindly loyal clears you of all charges. Its sick.
