It’s 1900 and my tail’s draggin but I don’t think a DC-3 would have the capability to haul a load of coke across the Atlantic fron Venezuela unless the Gooney had pontoons and was being refueld on the water by some barge in the mid-Atlantic. Humm. Now there’s an idea for some entrepeneur.

A DC-3 can definitely make it from Santa Marta to South Florida without refueling. So can a Lockheed Lodestar. Trust me on that.
