Liberals/Socialists absolute hate the Constitution but especially a woman who believes in it and is willing to defend it. "Women" are supposed to be feminazis - hate men, hate children, love socialism and look like hellry xlinton.

That Sarah completely rejects these "ideals" makes her dangerous to liberals as they see she could destroy those long held myths.

The root issue for the left with Sarah is her unashamed faith in God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ as her savior. Everything else is just incidentals. The left’s religion is statism and they can tolerate no other religion before it except for maybe Islam. Islam is a to an extent a political totalitarian faith so its kinda like their totalitarian faith plus they know Muslims will kill them if they say something about negative about Islam.

For the statist Christianity and to some extent Judaism stands between them and their desired totalitarian state and must be crushed. No relationship can exist that is higher than the state and the subjects of the state, most certainly not the concept of the “individual” and God.

Fear and loathing of everyday people going about their lives trying to raise their families and make some money to provide for them. That bothers the hell out of the whack left! She can fish...she's o.k.by me!

The best answer I heard so far was from Bernie Goldberg, on O’Reilly Monday night. I think I have the quote almost right. Maybe someone has the exact video.

“It wasn’t supposed to be like this. The most famous policial woman in the nation was supposed to be one of them. A liberal.”

Yes! I saw that interview. You're right, that really does sum up their hatred. The fact that the most famous political woman is a solid conservative is in essence a rejection of liberalism!

That's only part of the answer, what they really fear is an attractive, conservative woman with charisma. They are used to portraying conservatives as stodgy, anal retentive and judgemental, Palin doesn't fit that generalization.

The fact that Palin is real, not an act, like Obama, adds to the threat that she poses. Obama's words are empty, meaningless platitudes, well delivered via a teleprompter. Palin's words are from the heart.

“The only way the left can make themselves greater is if they diminish Sarah”

Sadly, it is not the left that is the bigger disapointment and surprise.

Sarah-bashing (and bashing her children, even the baby) has unveiled the so-called “moderate” right wing intelligentsia as elitist snobs of the worst kind. As far as I am concerned you can put the whole McCain campaign staff (and many of Romney’s too) on a wagon and dump them in front of the DNC.

A couple of old replies posted on first impression upon the selection of Sarah Palin by John McCain seem to wear well. Victor David Hanson poses the question, why do liberals detest Sarah Palin? The answer, I think, is not what she says or what she does who she is. She is the very physical embodiment of conservatism. She is the very righteousness of conservatism in the flesh. Their detestation is visceral; the left simply cannot react otherwise.

Sarah Palin converts politics from a question of who gets what at whose expense into a higher moral question. This is an arena in which leftists cannot prevail, so they must destroy Sarah Palin. The urge is as elemental as self-preservation and as Old Testament as good and evil. Here are the two posts:

Within the 24-hour news cycle following the selection Sarah Palin as his running mate by John McCain, I posted this vanity:

THE MEANINGFUL SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS SELECTION IS MORAL.

She is the living breathing embodiment of all things good in the conservative tradition. Her baby is a living reproach to the sophistry of a man who cannot discuss when life begins in the context of abortion and who listens to testimony by a nurse describing how she held a dying post abortion baby in her arms without a single syllable apparently penetrating to his soul. When his sordid history in this affair was investigated, he lied.

The abortion issue is only one issue which crystallizes the moral difference between the McCain/Palin to get Obama/Biden ticket. Other issues include, corruption, special interests, spending, and putting country above party. These issues are all made flesh in the person of Governor Sarah Palin. On August 31 I posted as follows:

McCain's Maverick Pick

Sarah Palin brings humanity to the ticket and coherence to the message. Until now it has been virtually impossible to articulate McCain's message in a single sentence but Palin's living example pulls it all together.

McCain is against corruption, but who knows? Governor Palin has got more than elk horns as trophies on her wall. McCain can and should point to his running mate and declare, "this is what I mean about standing up to corruption in Washington."

Is the sophistry rationalizing infanticide too opaque for Obama to cope with, too far above his pay grade? Sarah Palin cuddles an infant whose very existence is a reproach to Obama's bullshit.

Joe Biden is a nearly four decades example of cronyism and backscratching in Washington. A disgraceful toady to left wing special interests. McCain opposes politicians who have their snouts in the trough but he has gotten very little popular credit for it. Palin will have no truck with bridges to nowhere. What could be clearer?

Obama and Biden resort to plagiarism to advance their political careers, Palin resigns in protest in the face of corruption and brings it down.

There are many more examples which one could structure to illustrate why we all simultaneously came together in a rush with a collective exclamation, "yes, at last!" as we discovered Sarah Palin. We all instinctively and at once understood that here is the real deal whose life is the expression of what we believe in.

Let the rats hypocritically whine about her imagined lack of experience. We know that Sarah Palin was neither selected for her experience nor in spite of false allegations of her lack of experience, she was selected for what her experience reveals about her character.

Her life is the living, breathing, life giving expression of the fundamental values of conservatism.

Sarah Palin is real and I think she upsets their view of the world, what it is, how it works and who should succeed in it.

She doesn't have the resume that they believe is required. She isn't an Ivy leaguer. She doesn't live or believe in the liberal paradigm. She has grit where her supposed contemporaries have a projected front. She has life experience. They read and took tests and we somehow think that's better, but it isn't.

Have you ever noticed the difference between someone who has done something telling you what it's like versus someone who's only read about it telling you? obama, Biden and most of the rest are posers. They haven't done anything, but they talk like they have. Sarah Palin is real.

I've heard women talk about how guys don't like ‘strong’ women, but clearly Palin is one that lots of guys do like.

I thik that the women saying that guys don't like a strong woman are confused, because there's the 'strong' woman according to the feminist model, which is, in fact, completely repulsive, and then there is the strong woman in according to the Sarah Palin model, which is not repulsive, and I don't just mean looks, I mean attitude, smarts, drive, confidence and strong self image. Much of which feminists lack in spades otherwise they wouldn't be droning on and on about those qualities endlessly. You don't hear Sarah Palin talking about stuff like that endlessly, she's a walker, not a talker. Feminists are talkers with no real substance.

I was literally sickened to my stomach the other night, coming across a political forum where people were attacking her in ways so low I couldn’t believe my eyes. Accused her of using her baby with Down’s syndrome for political advantage. How is she using her baby? She has a baby with down’s syndrome. What is she supposed to do? Pretend she doesn’t? I think it’s more than admiral that she has shared her experience to show people that these children are as valuable as any and how much love they can bring into a family. Sinking to that level is low even for liberals. They truly turn my stomach and I hate feeling that way about people but they’re rotten.

The Demonrats live in a rabbit hole and the truth they hear coming from Governor Palin sounds like lies because their brains are installed upside down.
