Chavez pulling a Kim Jong Il, “Look at ME!” Look at ME!”
Obama’s trip to China must have hurt his ego because of all the world press he’s receiving.

I know Chavez has spent some coin on Russian tanks and planes but he would be really crazy to go against a Colombian Army battle hardened from it’s war with FARC. Although we have seen other Latin American despots start a war to shore up crumbling support at home, a la the Argies picking a fight with the UK.

Chavez would look great with a Colombian bow-tie.

Hmmmm, does Colombia have anything that can aim well enough to do hit the dome on the Venezuelan state house?

FARC is active lately as well.
Not good for Colombia... or South or Central America
Colombian soldiers patrol Corinto town in Cauca province November 16, 2009. The government decided to send 2,500 more troops to the southwest province on November 11, a day after an attack by FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) rebels killed nine soldiers, in an attempt to strengthen and regain control of the region. A PR ploy?
Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is seen in Portuguesa, about 350 km west of Caracas November 8, 2009. Chavez is stirring trouble with Colombia to disguise domestic failures and Venezuela would be "mad" to enter a conflict with its neighbor, a prominent opposition leader said. Was this done to keep his own people from leaving the Hugo paradise?Absolutely. It's the standard m.o.
But will Obama have the guts to accept the inrush of Venezuelan refugees?
