"Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska is a "yes" in a crucial weekend test vote on health care government takeover of more than 1/6 of the U.S. economy. The moderate idiotic, anti-American, lawmaker told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D (Marxist)-Nev., that he would vote with rank-and-file Democrats to move ahead on the legislation unconstitutional abomoniation being foisted upin the American public (but NOT on congress)." There! Fixed it.

LIEberman will vote for cloture. Landrieu has been bribed with $100 million for her state as written in the bill for disaster relief.

All the 'Rats will stick together when push comes to shove. It's what 'Rats do. No surprise here. And anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. They don't have the guts to go against Reid or Bro.

The sheeple need to learn a lesson. Elections have consequences. They voted for this scum bum and now they're going to have this crammed down their throats, like it or not. Anyone with the eyes to see and ears to hear knew what Obama was. But they still voted for him and now we're all stuck with him. Hope you all like screwjobs, because we're going to get it.

I disagree. If it passes it will require people to rise up in civil disobedience.

Keep calling him is right- soften him up for the next vote and let him know of our outrage.

He caved first to give cover for Lincoln. She is now toast. This will be a strict party-line vote, let the American people clearly see who is delivering this monstrosity and wrecking our nation.

Thank you again to all the F___ing idiots in Minnesota who voted for Dean Barkley instead of Norm Coleman, thus delivering Franken.

Absolutely - call all senators - especially the RATS - let them know they are forfeiting their own careers in 2010 and 2012 - we will not forget.

But a new Zogby poll finds that Sen. Blanche Lincoln, one of a few Democrats who has not yet committed to voting to bring health care legislation to the Senate floor, would face a much tougher reelection fight in Arkansas in 2010 if she were to vote for the bill.

The poll finds that as it is, Lincoln holds a thin 41 percent to 39 percent lead over her potential Republican challenger, State Senator Gilbert Baker. But when pollsters followed up and asked how their support would change if Lincoln voted for the health care bill, suddenly it’s Baker who enjoys a comfortable 49 percent to 37 percent lead. Overall, that’s a 14-point swing against her just based on the health care vote.
Arkansans oppose the health care bill by an overwhelming 64 percent to 29 percent margin, and after pollsters explained what was in the legislation, that number grew to 68 percent to 26 percent.

Forget the Democrats. With Lieberman as a holdout, they need at least one GOP vote. Obviously Maine is the most likely state to offer up a Senator, but with the public option - without a (phony) trigger, Snowe said she would not vote for it (from Committee). Not that what she says matters much. Collins is probably getting a couple hundred million for her state to buy her vote. Byrd is out, some are traveling. If the Repubs can stay united and Lieberman goes with us, it has a chance.

Who am I kidding? Reid will buy the votes he needs. He only has a year and change left in office. What does he care. Its going to be another crappy Saturday night (House did it late on Sat night as well).
