To try Mohammed in a criminal court is to treat his act as criminal, and coming from a young administration that has already ceased using the phrases ‘terrorism’, ‘Islamic fundamentalism’ and ‘war on terror’ this serves as confirmation for many who, like myself, view the struggle against terrorism and against the oppressions of fundamentalism as the most important international (and moral) task facing our nation.
Trying Mohammed in a criminal court is not necessary, and one could argue that he does not deserve to be treated as even the least respected criminal by the United States. He is by every definition of the word a war criminal, prisoner of war and enemy of our state. He is a mass-murderer of the worst kind, and is anything but criminal. Our criminals invade our homes, rob our citizens and perpetrate common offenses. They do not organize large-scale acts of war that rob our citizens of their innocence, invade our national security and launch our nation into war.

It is ridiculous that KSM was not shot in the head and dumped into a shallow grave once we water-boarded all the information out of him that we could get! Why are we still feeding that guy?
Yes, they were established to uphold the Geneva Convention. You don't give those fighting in a battlefield without a uniform, authorization and identification by the country of origin. By giving KSM this trial O is Nullifying the Geneva Convention.
A military trial was the right decision and President Bush should have denied the U.S. Supreme Court any involvement and executed the Detainees pronto after a military tribunal for each. That was his mistake.
O is compounding the mistake and future presidents (including Democratic one) will regret it.
Historically, upon capture, terrorists are executed either without trial or with only the barest of a trial. You don’t spend a lot of time on them. You sweat them for information, and then put them up against the wall, or hang them.
In many conflicts it has been customary to shoot them on the spot. I don’t recommend this, but only because they have intelligence and they need to give that up before departing this mortal coil.
The terrorist who isn’t executed quickly should be the exception; he would have a very small window of opportunity to trade something of real value for his life, such as the location of his leadership. Failing that, its adios and sayonara.
KSM is going free.
I would like to see everyone STOP using KSM and start calling the guy by his real Islamic name. The Mainstream Media started using his initials, and the rest of us followed suit, just like sheep.
As shocking as it may sound, I would like to see KSM found not guilty because he was not read his Miranda rights or some other stupid technicality or procedural flaw. This would be the icing on the cake to sink the dunderheads in the Democrap party for years. A laughingstock bunch of idiots, liars, conspirators, thieves, and anything else you can think of.

I seriously doubt it. Forget the politics and the civil or military argument for a minute. Federal indictments result in convictions in a huge percentage of trials and federal terror indictees rarely, if ever, go free. Have you seen the unibomber walking around your local mall lately? In the unlikely event KSM was found not guilty I understand he would not go free because of other charges pending. I have a little experience in the law and I sincerely doubt this thug will ever see freedom again. I expect him to get the federal death penalty.

Yes, I heard Holder making this claim, and it may be true, but whether or not KSM goes free or not, Obamao and Holder have cleared the way to prosecute America. A bigger game is afloat. KSM is just a pawn.
