Apparently the hacks at the Politico can’t count. There are 40 Republicans. If Lieberman votes with the 40 Republicans, that = 41. That puts the rats at 59, not 60.
For those of us unfortunate enough to have Dem senators, we need to ask them why they failed to get $100M for our states like Louisianna did. LOL.
What a shock.
That said, Max Baucus has flown back home where his mother is critically ill.
“So, Sen. Landrieu, will you sleep with me for 50 cents?
Of course not! she exclaimed with disgust...What kind of woman do you think I am?
We already know what kind of woman you are...were just negotiating a price!”
LOL...and so true. The other so-called “hold-outs” are waiting for their 100 mil.
There’s NOTHING LEAN about Susie Creamcheese Landrieu.....she;sa LYING PIG.
Did Harry leave the 100 million on the nightstand for Mary?
Did anyone doubt this?
Lieberman is not with them.

Yeah, All my Illinois Senator Burris got was a lousy pardon from the Senate Ethics committee....
Tomorrow’s vote... from the same article.
Lieberman did say he’s “strongly inclined” to vote to proceed to the debate, but that hell ultimately vote to block a floor vote on the bill if it isnt changed first.
How about Prostitute ?
She has a price. Like a vegas whore
Will Robert Byrd be able to make it to the chamber to vote?
We should be calling Liberman’s office and telling him to vote NO. There’s no way in hell the bill can be changed in any way to make it acceptable.
He's with them tomorrow night, most likely.

Naw’lins has a long history of politicians taking bribes. Nothing to see here....move along!
This doesn't make sense. The vote scheduled tomorrow is to end "debate" as in to have cloture [filibuster] on this issue and go to a straight up and down majority vote. It appears to be double talk ; debate is already ongoing. Any leverage Lieberman had would end tomorrow if he votes for this abomination.
A clarification of my last post: a vote for ‘cloture’ ends the Senate filibuster.
