Yes, and they explained it so well. Time is a needle on a record which occassionally skips. Like that time you listened to Pink Floyd so long that you lost track of things and missed the bus to school.

Is this the same Whitley Strieber that cowrote that book “Warday” (I think that was his name)? If so, I recall reading that cover to cover as a teenager. What an outstanding book that was ... it was about a limited nuclear war between the USSR and USA.
I always had some sick fascination with end of the world stories ... not like I want it to happen, but I recall being scared to death after seeing “The Day After” when I was young (like 10 years old). I started to read more about the improbabilities of full scale nuclear war, and started to “stop worrying and love the bomb” a bit more :-)! Works of fiction became rather neat forms of “dark entertainment” from there on out. Yeah, sounds sad :-).
What really freaked me out in “Warday” is that the characters in the novel visited Old Allegheny County airport which was about a 3 or 4 mile walk from where I live (in Western PA, about 10 miles out of Pittsburgh). That hit close to home ... literally. Hearing about your area being “devistated, in a state of panic, etc.” really doesn’t help sleeping :-)!

Thanks, but I think that’s his end-of-show bumper music. I recognize that. But the beginning bumper music is more synthesized with heavy base backbeat.
