How exactly does he qualify as “American”?
He was born in Pakistan; I suppose he may have acquired US citizenship somewhere along the way, but making it sound as if he was just the boy next door in a town in Iowa is ridiculous. For some reason, the press loves depicting terrorists, even foreign born ones, as just average “Americans” who for some reason decide to engage in a bit of anti-social behavior that is of little more significance than graffiti or littering.
Which certainly won't disqualify him from running for President.
