Ten to one the S.O.B. was using his position as an Army officer to attend homeland security & counter-terrorism conferences/events and report back his findings to his terrorist handlers.

The organization he was part of was a meeting sponsored by a university think tank, not DHS.

And how was he chosen, and by whom? There is a story here.

The story has been posted numerous times on FR. You might go see what was discussed.

Now, what's happened to Dana Priest? Remember 2007? She's the gal at the WarshPost who interviewed all sorts of folks at Walter Reed Hospital complex and came up with the mold spots on the walls in "otherwise condemned and scheduled for demolition" Building 18.

She did so much interviewing for her stories (for which she was given a Pulitzer Prize) she could not possibly have failed to run across Dr. Hasan!

I asked the question about her involvement in the Hasan cover-up on November 10 ~ the day after the shooting.

Haven't seen a story by her published at the Post in over a week. We need to find out what her criminal defense attorney's name is and see if he has a prepared statement.

True, but isn't it interesting that AG Eric Holder was on the steering committee. And several senior fellows now have top spots in DHS, as well as top advisor spots on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security?

It is also interesting that all of the recommendations that came out of the think tank were implemented by the Obama administration. Including the main recommendation which took Homeland Security and the NSA and placed both under a Czar in the White House.

Yes, it's been posted before, many times. And it's not true.

GWU was not part of the Obama Transition Team. It's a private institution, and given what we know about the attitude of Hasan's superiors at Walter Reed, they likely sent him to the GWU and other conferences to get him out of the way, since they didn't want him seeing patients, but didn't want to get rid of him either.

As much as you may want a simplistic answer to why Hasan was allowed to remain in the service, by trying to directly link him to Obama, it ain't gonna happen.

Hasan was a catastrophic system-wide failure caused by political correctness on multiple levels of both the federal government and the Army, long before Obama took office.

Deal with it.

Commies usually work FOR somebody. So where does Holder's handler come from? Is she a Chicom, or a Russian, or a Serb, or what? We are running out of real Commies everywhere else these days, so it's kind of a mystery just who these people could be selling out to.

One thought I've had is that it's not Commies but instead Saddam Hussein's daughter passing out the billions.

Or, as she is sometimes called "The Great Whore of Babylon".

This story has been dealt with many times here. The GWU think tank was trying to influence public opinion through its work, and was not officially part of the Obama admin.

We may wish it were, but it wasn’t.

OK, but who from the GWU think tank extended the invite to Hasan? Surely wasn’t Holder and others, right? But someone within the think tank tasked with getting people there probably thought Hasan would make a good diversity pick without talking to others about the Major’s troubling nature.

If I were to guess - that’s what happened. And that probably had nothing to do with Holder - as much as I detest Holder, I care about the truth more.

I’m not that familiar with this, but can you verify if Ms. Priest was doing that with an anti-Bush agenda, right? So certainly the outspoken Hasan would have played right into that...

There’s a lot to be said now and in the future about the Obama coverup of the Hasan terrorist murder spree.

Priest's work definitely involved the outpatient psychiatric unit, and that's where Hasan worked. She can't have missed talking to this guy or hearing about him.

We need to see her notes. We need to see her interviewed by the FBI and Homeland Security.

As a consequence of her efforts several top level officers at Walter Reed lost their posts, including the installation commander.

Why was it Dana and the Posties decided they had to bring down the top brass? Could it have been to protect their "friend" and fellow Jihadi? (Which sounds terribly conspiratorial, but good grief, the very things you'd expect to happen DID happen and 14 human beings are dead!

Hasan starting attending think tank events right after he started emailing the AQ imam. His emails with the imam were reportedly about his research work with Walter Reed. The head of the GW think tank said Hasan attended the events for research pertaining to Walter Reed.

What I'm saying is the imam set Hasan up with an AQ operative to "help" him with his research. And that operative is involved with that think tank. And is highly connected all the way up to the White House.

You're right. It takes a connection to be part of this. He is not an ordinary citizen, he is a MUSLIM and a USA soldier and he's challenged people before.

Did he get on this to pacify him. Was his promotion to pacify him?

Right. Hopefully Lieberman and the Rs and all of us will get somewhere with our demands to righfully investigate this terrorist atrocity.

Nov 2008?

I don't think you've been around here long enough to suggest that anything at all is "crap".

Freepers took down Dan Rather with less. My target is a 2 times Pulitzer prize winning reporter at the Washington Post.

She's got a lot of questions to answer somewhere. Certainly the whenabouts/whereabouts of Dr. Hasan is highly relevant ~ at least as relevant as the moldy spot on the wall in Building 18.

If Hasan was simply in a room with hundreds of other people where are their names? We must investigate his entire environment at a minimum.

Right now, there are FEW names on the list, and his is one, and all the others, and the sponsors, have something to answer for.
