Latinos and African-Americans in Massachusetts and across the country are facing high unemployment rates that could spiral to levels not seen in decades as the jobless economic recovery drags on, analysts and urban community advocates say.
At the same time, some big-city mayors and community activists complain that the $787 billion federal stimulus package that the Obama administration promised would preserve or create jobs has not put a significant dent in urban unemployment, threatening to leave blacks and Latinos behind when the economy finally turns around.
The Congressional Black Caucus and civil rights organizations are calling for a targeted aid package to put minorities back to work and stepping up pressuring on the White House ahead of its jobs summit next month where corporate CEOs, academics, labor leaders, community activists, and others have been invited to suggest any and all ideas to spur hiring.

Community activists from Massachusetts and around the country want the administration and Congress to give direct federal aid to urban areas, including an extension of unemployment benefits, more food assistance for the poor, and a broad jobs program modeled on the New Deal’s Works Progress Administration. They plan to take their case to the Dec. 3 White House jobs summit, and some are also discussing a demonstration akin to the 1968 antipoverty march on Washington to dial up the pressure on Capitol Hill.

The undeniable paradox of socialism is that, if all of the wealth could indeed be evenly redistributed, in ten years the exact same people would be rich and the exact same would be poor.
Illegals and welfare recipients hardest hit. No doubt the FEMALES in these categories are the ones REALLY suffering, right!
These clowns voted for the Porkulous knowing most of the money would flow to states and other organizations that would support fields dominated by women, education and health care. This is one the reasons the female labor force participation rate has exceed the men for the first time since these statistics have been collected.
But, but they can’t help themselves, they need government money, they can’t be self-sufficient.
As much as I hate government programs I’d like them a little better if they didn’t cost so much. I’d bet that for every 30K job they “create”, they spend 150-300K.
Well, the single mothers trying to raise a family without a husband / father around are always going to have a heard time no matter what, unless they government the heck out of the productive people in order to be able to send them a welfare / aid check that matches that of someone making a salary at a professional (engineer, doctor, etc.) level.
I’d say closer to 6 months.

That's why faith based charities beat any kind of government handout by a long shot.
Not because of some "conspiracy", but because of the facts of life.
When jobs shrink, the first to go are the unskilled or unreliable. A lot of skilled and reliable people will also be out of work. Those people will replace alot of the unskilled or unreliable.
If your parents never raised you with the ethics or mentality to succeed in the world, the world is going to be a very tough place.
A lot of the illegals coming to this country don't have any "real" skills, but are cheap labor. As jobs shrink, so will the demand for unskilled jobs. Also as unemployment grows, those who look for work vs. welfare will be willing to work for less, competing for the jobs that have been taken by the less skilled.
Basically it becomes a viscious circle, eating away more and more at the unskilled or unprepared for life. Single parents and illegitamacy run epidemic in inner city neighborhoods. Generations of people have grown up with no raising of life skills or attitudes.
Its not a conspiracy against "race". Its just that certain races fall into these groups.
Whether white or black or red or yellow, if a kid isn't raised for success, probability is high that he'll be left on the side of the road of life. If a certain group of people have a higher number of kids unprepared for success in life, its only logical that this group will have a higher number of unsuccessful adults.
It has NEVER changed throughout the history of the DUM Party. You know the party of Slavery.
EVERYTHING they due makes the lives of Minorities (fake name) and “poor” harder by 10 fold.
Yet the idiots keep believing the lies of the DUMs.
Who’s been running Massachusetts all these years?
Why are you assuming that the redistribution is a one-time deal?

Sooner or later “Black & Minority” America are going to have to wake up and face the facts of reality. Not only is POTUS Barack Obama and his Democrat Party hurting American Blacks and other minorities in their pocketbooks and lost jobs, but the Obama hate of small business and free enterprise is killing many just growing “Black” owned businesses. Sad commentary, that could have been avoided had all Americans taken a true, objective view of Barack Obama before last year’s POTUS election. Truth is, Mr. Obama is no good for America or any average American regardless of religion, color, culture or ethnicity. Sad, but true!!! The dude just does not have it!!!
