Mary Landrieu, Harry Reid Fundraiser Payback For Payoff?
The Admonition ^ | November 22, 2009 | Tilman Walker

Posted on 11/23/2009 9:00:00 AM PST by Ebenezer

You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. That’s the way it’s always worked in Washington, so the news that Mary Landrieu will hold a fundraiser in New Orleans for Senator Harry Reid comes as no surprise. Reid procured a substantial dose of cash to Landrieu’s Louisiana in exchange for her crucial “moderate” vote.

Senator Mary Landrieu from Louisiana garnered a lot of attention before the healthcare vote last night as to whether she would or wouldn’t vote yes to send the monstrosity of a bill to the floor for debate. After rumors of a $100 million dollar bribe by Senator Harry Reid had everyone speculating she would throw her vote away for money, she corrected us by telling us the bribe was more in the range of $300 million.

Here’s the first paragraph from a report from nola.com:

"Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., will host a fundraiser for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., in New Orleans next month, an event that comes on the heels of Reid’s assistance getting Louisiana a windfall of Medicaid money in the health care reform bill."

Pretty much says it all right there, if that doesn’t do it for you a commenter at Gateway Pundit sums it up even better. Cargosquid says:

"Every whore needs to pay her pimp."

Let me correct myself, THAT says it all. Makes you wonder if Mary Landrieu will require further greasing to get a yes vote on the final bill? I guess Harry Reid needs to keep some of that money he raises next month for just such a contingency.

Mary Landrieu should serve Nevada rather than Louisiana in the Senate. Prostitution is legal in the former.

Like the Bible’s Mary Magdalene, Mary Landrieu needs to repent (and Louisiana voters should gladly help in the process).

Told you that $100 mil is not for the state or the people of Louisiana. It’s a slush fund we taxpayers are funding without out permission or knowledge for the benefit of the traitor commies in our Congress and WH and businesses.

And how much does the burden of the Healthcare cost to each Louisianian in the future. My friends and I tried calling her all day Friday but the lines to all her offices were busy. She was too busy making deals for her political future. I wrote her this AM and told her she sold out America for her political career in Louisiana and that we would remember that com re-election time. I told her I am an American first. That little selfish, weak weasel. I hope we can get someone with scruples to run against next time.

From bribary to prostitution, the Democrats have a free pass to do what they want and the hell with what we have to say about the matter.

It’s time to use some teeth!

I’m betting a part of that $100,000,000 will flow directly back to Reid’s campaign coffers. Also, that a mechanism was worked out in advance to achieve that goal. Has anyone ever heard of Louisiana graft and corruption? I thought so.
