It is merely a tool that law enforcement uses to jack people up and get them into the criminal justice system.
That alone should be a crime.
this happens every day in Ca, it doesn’t matter if you are below .08, if you have ANY Alcohol in your system you will be convicted of DUI, instead of DWI. unless of course you are POLITICALLY connected. This is ridiculous, every person ever convicted in CA for DUI should immediately Appeal their case and USE her arrest as grounds for overturning their conviction. Around here we call it DISCRIMINATION.
Congress people and their family’s can get away with almost anything.
Most of those people have probably already exhausted their energy and resources dealing with the hysteria that rained down upon them.
In my state, one faced with the charge has no defense, but has to hire a lawyer nonetheless. They also have to pay (on a sliding scale according to income) for dependency testing, mental assessment and counseling, the MADD Mothers' live theatre (AKA Victim Impact Panel), DWI school, the cost of their own incarceration, a year's worth of probation, urine testing and search of their persons, vehicles and home costs, at least a year's worth of an ignition interlock, time spent picking up trash along the side of the road, as well as the cost of time away from work to deal with all of that.
Hysteria.
I only use it when the circumstances demand it.

I never hit the abuse button on anybody. I think it’s a sissy thing to do.
Any of us may help the owner keep the web site as intended. I don't espect the moderators and owners can read every line.
You can pass by the smell, but I won't. Then the moderators can leave it or not.
Sissy would be to let the web site be trashed because you have some personal rule that will allow anything to be a discredit to the site.
All I know is I’ve been here almost 12 years and never had to hit the “sissy” button. People need to have thicker skins.
